
Morgan Harvey Personnel was started back in July 2002 by
David Orr and Amanda Whiteley.
David started life in Financial services and went on to
become the youngest and most successful Financial
Services Manager for Lloyds where he won the accolade of
Top European Salesperson at the age of 21. After a
period of time in Australia, David returned and started
his recruitment career. David worked for two of the main
UK recruitment marketplace leaders before setting up a
joint venture with the Pertemps Group. After 3
successful years of building a £10Million Turnover
business, David sold his share back to the Pertemps
Group and took up the post of UK Operations Director
with Spring PLC where he took a £54 Million Turnover
general staffing business to £ 3Million Net profit
business in just 1 year. David went on to set up an
interim management team that specialise in
troubleshooting and strategy for a string of major UK
recruitment firms.
Because of David’s past experiences he has become
recognised and respected within the recruitment
marketplace. David is a fellow of the REC and a director
of Twyford Developments which is a leading venture
capital Investment company. In addition to these
accolades David has many different business ventures
which he enjoys spending time on.
Amanda Whiteley was also a Director of Pertemps South
East before concentrating her efforts on the launch of
Morgan Harvey. Prior to this she was a Branch Manager
for over 7 years with Adecco. Amanda started her career
in Glasgow as a business trust advisor, advising small
businesses on marketing launches, funding available and
general business knowledge. Amanda now takes up the role
in Morgan Harvey as Finance Director, which she juggles
with bringing up her young family.
The main Morgan Harvey branches operate out of Surrey,
London and Hampshire with each division headed up by a
key member of the Morgan Harvey team.
